About PFP & Associates

Founded in 1962, PFP & Associates is a professional sales agency covering 14 Western U.S. states & territories. We have experience in all channels of distribution within the Sporting Goods, Outdoor, Tactical, Footwear markets. With our in-house office manager, we support 5 sales reps in the field and cover the territory in greater detail. The cost of travel, traffic patterns have only increased. The strategic placement of our team ensures we maximize the frequency of sales & service calls. We are service intensive, count & fill specialists. Our corporate office & warehouse is located in Orange County, California. We have 2000 square feet of office & storage space for point-of-sale materials and samples. We are set up to do telemarketing & order tracking where needed.

Todd began his career in the mid 90's and developed his love for the outdoor industry in stents with Nike and Sport Chalet while attending Grand Canyon University.  Full time with PFP since 2001, Todd has a wide range of talents to secure business in the ever changing climate. Elevated to Partner in 2019 and President in 2020, Todd is uniquely ready to drive brand/vendor growth now and into the future.

Manages the team day to day along with key strategic retailers in all sectors: E-Commerce, Brick and Mortar, Majors and omni-channel distribution.

In his free time Todd enjoys golf, hiking and travelling.

Currently Todd resides in So. California with his wife, daughter and twin boys,

Brian was born and raised in Vail, CO and currently resides and offices in Denver, CO.  Brian began his foray into the outdoor industry by spending six years after graduating college by becoming a professional ski bum in Squaw Valley, CA and Vail, CO.  Although a great experience, the real world came a calling in 2001 when he moved to Denver and became a financial advisor.  Realizing the errors of his ways, he left the financial services industry in 2006 and began his career as a manufactures sales rep and ultimately joined the PFP & Associates team in 2010 getting promoted to partner in 2016. 

During his time off the road, Brian enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Hali, her two boys and his golden retriever Piper.  He is an active hiker, camper, skier, fly fisherman and enjoys traveling to any exotic beach locale. 

Brian graduated from Gustavus Adolphus college in St. Peter, MN and is our anchor in the Rocky Mountain region working on most of our agency lineup and covers key accounts and specialty retailers.

Kristian came aboard in 2010 and works the Southern California area with most of the agency's lineup. Kristian lives in Valencia Calif and covers a large geography and wide variety of dealers for PFP. Kristian is very popular with his dealers making him a great agency asset.

Tiffany was the senior buyer for a family owned outdoor retailer chain in Northern California for 7+ years and has been with the PFP agency as a multi-line rep since early 2015. She enjoys building and maintaining relationships with her accounts and loves the versatility of representing a variety of brands.

 Her and her husband welcomed their heart warrior son in July 2019. 

Tiffany has a love of the mountains and nature and spending quality time with her family.


 Rhoda Peckham: Partner & VP Operations. Rhoda handles all aspects of running our office from commissions to AP/AR and all corporate accounting. She keeps it all together on the office front.

Scott graduated from UCLA & has been with PFP since 1982. Responsible for all accounts & lines handled by the agency as well as agency operations.

Our History

Hal Peters founded our agency in 1962, when he became the manufacturer’s representative for Wigwam Mills & Champion Sport Gloves for California, Arizona , Nevada. These original relationships lasted for 27 years and illustrate our longevity & consistency. Our agency prides itself on bringing ideas & industry insight to it’s factories & retailers which lead to profitable long term relationships. Hal laid the foundation of integrity & trust that continue today. Steve Fate began his career in 1976 & quickly became a key player & driving force for the agency. Steve’s aggressive nature & business savy were the perfect compliments to Hal’s organized efficiency. Steve took over as President of the agency in 1987 and the agency grew in size & stature representing Vuarnet sunglasses & later on Ugg footwear in the 80’s & 90’s. Scott Peckham started as a sales rep in 1982 & became the Vice President in 1989. In 2001, Scott became a partner & took sole ownership of the agency in 2005. Under Scott’s leadership, PFP had some of the greatest years in the 60+ year history of the company. Scott continues to maintain a relationship in the agency as a consultant and key account specialist. His efforts and guidance has continued, (and continues) the upward trajectory of PFP as the leading, professional sales agency in the industry. Todd Putnam started as a rep in 2001and took a leadership role in 2016 as Vice President. In 2019 he took over as a partner and assumed the role of President. He has guided the agency though great periods of success, unprecedented global pandemic, and created a path forward for growth. With his leadership, drive, and fire, PFP is poised for continued growth and success now and long into the future! The bedrock lessons learned from Hal, Steve & Scott are still used daily in how the agency is run & grows into the 21st Century.
